Data Science and Environmental Health Science Research Symposium

This interdisciplinary forum will present the research activities in population genomics, genomic-driven new approach methodologies and environmental health disparities and address approaches to handling big data.

The Data Science and Environmental Health Sciences Research  symposium will provide expert knowledge on state-of-the-art approaches in Data Science as applied to Environmental Health Research. This symposium will promote current research activities in Population Genomics, Genomic Driven New Approach Methodologies and Environmental Health Disparities and address approaches to handling “big data”. The meeting aims to foster collaborative discussions through an interdisciplinary forum and advance the application of new methods in Environmental Health Science Research.

Parking and Directions

  • James B. Hunt Jr. Library – 1070 Partners Way, Raleigh, NC 27606
    • The Auditorium is located on the first floor when you walk in from Partners Way
    • The Duke Energy Hall is located on the second floor
  • Attendees with C-Permit Parking: Partners Lot 1 – 1017 Main Campus Dr., Raleigh, NC 27606
    • The lot and parking deck are for C-Permit Parking behind Partners Building 1 on Centennial Campus, located in front of Hunt Library.
    • There is an entrance to the parking deck and lot on Partners Way
  • Attendees without permits: Oval West Parking Deck – 914 Partners Way, Raleigh, NC 27606
    • And email will be sent with the parking permit needed for this lot.
    • This parking deck is slightly up the road from Hunt Library, but still within walking distance. If you are in need of ADA parking, please contact Seth Kullman (swkullma@ncsu.edu).
