Registration for the 2026 SAS Hackathon has just closed and all participating teams around the world are officially locked in!

This is not your typical weekend-long hackathon- over the entire course of October, we will see dozens of high impact projects come to fruition, tackling real-world business and humanitarian challenges using SAS technology.

Gain practical data science and AI skills in our one-credit, project-based courses. Open to all levels and disciplines, our classes emphasize hands-on learning through interactive projects that build data literacy without traditional tests or quizzes.

NC State AI Academy

Since launching in spring 2020, NC State University’s AI Academy has prepared over 2,000 professionals in artificial intelligence. The academy, founded with a five-year, $6 million grant from the U.S. Department of Labor, partners with more than 100 organizations to upskill their employees for AI roles. The program is also open to individuals looking to enter the data science and AI fields.

Data Explorers, an NC State Data Science and AI Academy program in partnership with The Science House, The Friday Institute, NC School of Science and Mathematics, and COMAP, brings data science and AI to K-12 classrooms. It offers professional development for teachers, student courses and challenges, and curriculum and policy resources.
