Bio
Dr. Faria holds a Ph.D. in Science, which she earned in 2012, area Statistics and Agricultural Experimentation at the University of São Paulo (ESALQ/USP). Her academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics in 2007, followed by a Master’s in Applied Statistics in 2009 from the Federal University of Viçosa in Brazil. Since 2010, she has been dedicated to teaching Statistics at the Federal University of Uberlândia in Brazil, and over the past year, she has also been teaching at North Carolina State University (NCSU). Faria leverages this extensive knowledge in the classroom, instructing students from various disciplines at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
