Bio
Alp is a Data Science Research Consultant, currently jointly appointed by the Data Science Academy and NC State Libraries’ Data and Visualization Services. He has experience in Data Science Consultations with a wide spectrum of university members, from undergraduate students to faculty, focusing on topics such as coding (Python, R, Matlab, C++), statistical analysis and modeling, and machine learning. He is pursuing his Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering. His research interests include High Performance Computing, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning for Dynamic Probabilistic Risk Assessment applications.
