About the Summit

The North Carolina Data Science Education Summit brings together K–12 educators and students from all subject areas to explore how data can support classroom learning and help us understand the world around us. Launched in 2023, the annual NC Data Science Education Summit is organized by NC State’s Data Science and AI Academy, in partnership with Data Science 4 Everyone, The Friday Institute for Educational Innovation, The Science House and the NC School of Science and Mathematics.

  • Support to make attendance possible: Schools can receive substitute reimbursement, and NC teachers traveling more than 50 miles are eligible for hotel accommodations.
