James B. Harr III

I am a Postdoctoral Teaching Scholar and Teaching Coordinator for the Data Science Academy, an adjunct instructor in the English Department (both at NC State) and a lecturer for the Digital Humanities Summer Minor at the University of California, Berkeley.

At the Data Science Academy, my teaching focuses on data ethics, text analysis and visualization, and my research investigates the integration of data science across all ten NC State colleges. In addition to my work at NC State, I am the Communication Manager for the Digital Humanities Collaborative of North Carolina, an Associate Editor for the journal Digital Medievalist, and a Review Editor for Speculum: A Journal of Medieval Studies.
